Romans 10:12-13 - Call On the Name

HIS WORDS

(10:11 added for context: The Scripture says, "NO MAN WHO BELIEVES IN HIM [who adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Christ] WILL [ever] BE PUT TO SHAME OR BE DISAPPOINTED. [Ps. 34:22; Isa. 28:16; 49:23; Jer. 17:7.] , Amplified )

For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call upon Him; for WHOEVER WILL CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED."

(10:14-15 are added for context [and because it is what I am most passionate about]: How then shall they call upon Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written "HOW BEAUTIFUL ARE THE FEET OF THOSE WHO BRING GLAD TIDINGS OF GOOD THINGS!")

MY WORDS

God does not show partiality for Jew or Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all of us, able to give the riches of His grace to everyone who calls upon Him in faith; for Joel 2:32 says, "Whoever will call upon the name of Christ for aid will be preserved safe from eternal death, sin, and the punishment and misery consequent to sin."

I WILL

Continue to call on His name so that some of my friends will "call on His name"!
