7. Dreams from My Father by Barack Obama

I was impressed with Obama's prose. It helped me understand the background behind his ideology, and his idealism shows through on every page of this book. He was raised in a multicultural environment rather than within the African American culture. He has led a fascinating life, and he has come a long way.  I read this because one of my applications from my Prayer Bible Study was to pray for him. This helped me do that more effectively.
