Psalm 116:1-2 -- He Hears

HIS WORDS

I love the Lord, because He hears 

My voice and my supplications. 

Because He has inclined His ear to me, 

Therefore I shall call upon Him as long as I live. . . 

MY WORDS

I love the LORD, because He has heard and now hears
My voice as I begged for mercy [to save my life].
Because He has inclined His ear to me,
Therefore, I will call on Him for the rest of my life.
